Located in Portland,Oregon's MountTabor residential neighborhood, thesite of St. AndrewsCare Centerhas a long and interesting history.

Our building is on theNational Register of Historic Places. Originally on this site was a GreekRevival-style monastery and chapel built in 1892 as a convent for an order ofcloistered nuns. In 1922, the current Spanish colonial style monastery wasconstructed as a Roman Catholic convent for the Sisters of the Precious Blood,and the chapel was further restored in 1931. The historic building wasextensively renovated in 1986 as St. Andrews Care Center.

From I-205:

Take Exit 21A, at SE Stark Street.
Travel west on SE Stark to SE 76th Avenue.
Turn left on SE 76th Avenue and go to SE Main St.
Turn left on SE Main St.
St. Andrews is on the left. Turn in at first drive.
